The Chateau Simone benefits of the appellation of Palette, one of France’s oldest, having been established in 1948, cover just 23 hectares. The Carmelite sisters, who also excavated the cellars, planted the sole estate in the appellation in the 16th Century. The property took on the name Simone from a later owner, but since the 17th Century has been home to the Rougier family. Currently in charge are René and Jean-François, the seventh and eighth generations of this dynasty.
The Rougier Family owned the domain since more than 2 centuries. With respect of the tradition, the wine yard whom are over 100 years old, are cultivated completely naturally.
Extraordinary cave on floor, made in the 16th century by the monks “Grands Carmes d’Aix’’ allow to preserve the wine in the best natural way possible.

With a limited production, Chateau Simone, remain the unique wine, seek by connoisseurs and experts, who will recognize the traditional way and quality pickle in a “Grand vin” from France.
The Château Simone produces the first Rosé from France and one of the best White wine from Provence.
